Published Nov 3, 2021

CHICAGO, IL (November 3rd, 2021) - Chicago House AC will visit Finley Stadium tonight in their final road match of the 2021 NISA Fall season against Chattanooga FC. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 6:00 pm CST. The House won their previous match 2-1 at New Amsterdam FC on October 30th and have won four out of their last six matches. Chattanooga FC, meanwhile, has lost four out of their previous five matches, including a 1-0 loss on the road to the Maryland Bobcats FC this past weekend.

The House is in 8th place in the 2021 NISA fall table with 17 points, while Chattanooga FC is behind in 9th place with 14 points.

The House wants to build on this winning momentum and bring three points back to the Windy City as they approach their final three matches at home for the season.

Head Coach and Technical Director, C.J. Brown discussed his team's assessment so far as we near the finish line.

"I would say it started inconsistently, but from the first day we started training from preseason, through the first few games, and now I think we've improved tremendously as a group," said Coach Brown. "We, as a team, now understand and respect the league and competition. It doesn't show well in the standings, but overall we're a tough team to play against. I would say the overall assessment is that it's a very good year for us.”

Coach Brown also shared what has impressed him the most about his team so far this season.

"I think it's the willingness to stick to the game plan," said Coach Brown. I think our fitness level has gotten better compared to the beginning of the season. I think the biggest thing is we try to play as a team. "We have a few good individual performances here and there, but overall we have a good team performance when we win games. Overall I think it's the team play that has been huge for us."

Finally, Coach Brown shared his thoughts on tonight's opponent Chattanooga FC and keeping his team motivated.

"I think it's going to be a hard match for us," said Coach Brown. "On the road, on turf against a direct physical group. They've had a few questionable results, so I'm sure they're looking to get back on track with a winning streak. Most importantly, our guys are hungry; they enjoy winning and enjoy playing good soccer. Every chance you get to play soccer, play a game versus training is ideal, so I think they're going to be happy to get out on the field and play."
